Romney, WV – Helen Naomi Tomlinson, 91, formerly of Manns Choice, passed away Monday December 30, 2019.

Born September 24, 1928 in Fairhope, PA; she was a daughter of the late James and Edna (Emerick) Leister. Also preceded in death by husband, Grant O. Tomlinson; sisters, Dottie Leister, Hazel Tomlinson, Marybell Kline; brothers, Ernest, Fred and Jacob Leister.

Survived by son, Craig G. and wife Jennifer (O’Bryan), Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Rhonda K. Konawicz and husband George, Holly Springs, NC, Edna S. Harden and husband Larry, Huntsville, TX, Lisa G. Balter, Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Rebecca A. Tomlinson and friend Eric Gisvold, Augusta, WV; sisters, Delores Kline, Waynesboro, Kay Diehl, Bedford, Thelma Hillegass, Schellsburg, brothers, Elwood Leister, Bedford, Ralph Leister, Glencoe, Roy Leister, OH; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was a graduate of Berlin Brothers Valley High School. She worked at GTE in Somerset and United Phone Company in Bedford. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Manns Choice.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan Leister officiating

Burial will be private at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in LaVale, MD
