Obituary

Kennells Mill, PA – Ilene M. Kennell, 85, of Kennells Mill went to be with the Lord June 2, 2023.
Born March 10, 1938 in Comps; she was a daughter of the late Clarence B. and Saloma V. (Clites) Emerick. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gerald W. “Jerry” Kennell, siblings, Annie Deneen, Blanche Olher, Chester Emerick, Eva Emrick, John Emerick, Leo Emerick, Ray Emerick, Curtis Emerick, Ruby Shroyer and Lillie Osborne.
Survived by a brother, Vernon Emerick of Hyndman, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Ilene was a member of Comps Church. She cleaned homes for many years.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Tuesday June 6, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Roger Huffman officiating.
