Hyndman, PA – Irvin Theodore Weimer, 89, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Tuesday November 8, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born February 22, 1927 in Mt. Savage, MD; he was a son of the late Irvin Milton and Bertha Grace (Kennell) Weimer. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Idella Clites; brothers, Charles and Ken Weimer.

Survived by his wife of 65 year, Hazel (Boyer) Weimer; whom he married July 12, 1951; children Johnny Weimer and wife Debbie of Berlin, Kathy Kegg and husband Roy of Manns Choice, Vonnie Minnick and husband Ronald of Hyndman; eight grandchildren, Ammie McKenzie, Sherry Keller, Jeremiah Weimer and wife Julie, Tammy Dawson and husband Kenneth, Jason Whitford, Isaac Kegg, Ronald Minnick II and wife Amanda, and Nicole Rose; brothers, Bob, and Clyde Weimer of OH, Russ Weimer of Hyndman, Harold “Peck” Weimer of Barrellville, and Harvey Weimer of Winchester, VA; sisters, Nellie Emerick and , Jean Lee both of Wellersburg , Betty Fink of LaVale, and Norma Swauger of Mt. Savage.

Irvin served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the Celanese Corp. and worked at Bloom’s Mobile Homes. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church.

Friends will be received at the Calvary Bible Church, 13901 Gardner Ave, Ellerslie, MD, on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the church on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2p.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Justin Miles officiating. Family will receive friend one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery with military honors by the Ft. Bedford Honor Guard.
