James “Jimbo” Chambers, 59, of Mount Savage passed away August 25, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born July 18, 1965, in Cumberland; a son of James F. Chambers and Carol (Richards) Chambers. Preceded in death by his mother, Carol Chambers and father-in-law, Kenneth Neubiser.
Survived by his best friend and soulmate of 28 years, Lori Ann (Neubiser) Chambers; his fur children, Sissy and Bubby, who brought so much joy to him; father and stepmother, James F. and Melody Chambers; siblings, Carolyn Reed (Ken), Anthony Chambers (Tiffany), Nathan Chambers, Shane Chambers (Meagan), Clair Ricker (Seth); many nieces and nephews mother-in-law, Anna Neubiser; brother-in-law, Rick Neubiser; daughters, Jenna McKenzie (John) and Jill Chambers; and four grandchildren.
Jimbo was a 1983 graduate of Mount Savage High School. He worked as a dry wall finisher. He was an avid pool player. He loved the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. He was a diehard Ford fan and loved hanging out with friends talking about old times.
Jimbo will be cremated per his wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at The Steel Pony.
