Ellerslie, MD – Jerry Mason, 95, of Ellerslie, MD went home to be with her Lord on June 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born April 24, 1926 in Somerset, PA; she was the daughter of the late, Pearl Zeigler Usoris. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy C. Mason, his parents, George and Anna Mason, her loving in laws; her brother, Ken Keith; and her grandparents, Owen and Hattie Zeigler, who lovingly raised her.

She loved being a homemaker. Her greatest joy was serving meals to her family and friends. She kept her hands busy making numerous kinds of crafts through the years for her children and grandchildren she loved very much. She was a member of the Ellerslie United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the United Methodist Women, serving many funeral dinners and working on crafts year-round for the church bazaar. Her favorite activity was singing in the church choir. She was also a member of the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by daughter, Bonnie Willison and husband Paul and their grandchildren, Doug Willison, Angel and Jeff Mitchell; great grandchildren, Shantel and Travis Hileman, Austin Lane, Grant Willison and Eli Willison; and great-great grandchild, Emerson Hileman; son, Ed Mason and wife Kathy; their children, Nick and Rebecca Shipley, Travis and Jennifer Shipley, Sara and Pat Willison and Savannah Mason; great grandchildren, Maddie Shipley, Cole Shipley, Bella Shipley, Jackson Shipley, Paul Willison, Abigail Shipley and Addison Willison and Jamison Shipley; also survived by her daughter, Georgie Mason; and son, Steve Mason.

The family would like to thank the two special friends for their loving care and the extended family and neighbors for the multiple ways they shared God’s love to Mom.

A private Celebration of Life and Homecoming will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be giving to the Ellerslie United Methodist Church or the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Hall.
