HYNDMAN – John W. Albright, 58, of Hyndman died June 30, 2016 at home surrounded by his wife and family. His firm belief in God, provided them strength.

Born July 12, 1957 in Hyndman;  a son of the late John and Idella (Troutman) Albright. Also preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Albright, Cathy Burkett, Edna Sandene, Lois Moskey; brothers, Ray and David Albright.

Survived by his wife of 33 years, Edith (Smith) Albright; daughters, Tina Linn and boyfriend Paul Braithwaite, Cumberland, Bobbie Linn and fiance Norman McKenzie Jr, Cresaptown, Lisa Mann and husband Dusty, Flinstone, Misty Greise and boyfriend Derek Humberson, Cumberland, Johna Albright and fiance David Green, Hyndman; Grandchildren, “the light of his eyes”, Corey, Kateria, and Rylee McKenzie, Taylor Greise and Arisyn Mann; sister, Connie Pershun and husband Ted, Fairhope, father and mother in law, Frank and Dot Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

John loved to fish and hunt. He had many friends he called his brothers; Terry Elliott, Billy Burkett and a special friend Ron “Spike” Spiker. His fishing buddies, Corey McKenzie, Terry Elliott, Bill and Dave, Hunting buddies, Frank and Glen Smith, Travis Broll, Mike Bucklew and Bob Sigwalt. Woody Logsdon who was waiting on him in Heaven.

John has been fighting cancer for 6 years. His wife and family by his side 100%

John went to Hyndman High School. He worked at Hedstroms and JLG in Bedford until health reasons didn’t allow. He was a member of the Ellerslie and Kennells Mill Sportsmens Clubs, He attended Central Christian Church. John Loved spending time with his grandchild and his dog L.T. Family was important.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 8 pm with Pastor Terry Elliott officiating.

Special thanks to Dr. Nallin, Dr. Medish(Pittsburgh Cancer Center) Dr. Zarmra  and also Terry Elliott, his pastor . He went beyond the duty of a pastor. He is loved and very special to us.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
