Hyndman, PA – Kathleen M. Ritchey, 89, of Hyndman passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.

Born May 20, 1934, in Hyndman; a daughter of the late Carl Sr. and Mildred (Logsdon) Miller. Also preceded in death her husband, Donald “Fuzz” Ritchey; brothers, Carl Jr., David, Kenneth, Irvin “Ted”, and Richard Miller; sisters, Vivian Shaffer and Helen Jean Ritchey Williams.

Survived by children, Perry Ritchey and Diane of Fairhope, Kathy Stair and Husband Gerald of Cooks Mills, Judy McCafferty and husband Michael of Baltimore, MD, Clark Ritchey of Hyndman; sister, Janet Martz and husband Eugene of Corriganville; eight grandchildren, Toby Stair and Jamie, Mandi Emerick and husband Travis, Zachary Ritchey, Spencer Ritchey, Brett Ritchey and wife Sherri, Maison McCafferty, Reagan McCafferty, and Emilee Burgess; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen worked at the Celanese Corporation and the Schwab Company. For years she cleaned the Hyndman Area Health Center with her husband. She was a devoted Christian women and member of Palo Alto United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Crafty Christians. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday December 2, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where a service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Derek Platt and Ethel Stevanus officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
