Hyndman, PA – Kenneth F. Clites, 66, of Hyndman passed away Friday September 16, 2016.

Born October 11, 1949 in Hyndman; he was a son of the late Samuel and Idella (Weimer) Clites. He was also preceded in death by a son Corey Clites and a brother, Samuel Clites.

Survived by his wife of 44 years, Janet (Shaffer) Clites; a daughter, Joni Miller and husband Todd, sons, Jeff and Cody Clites; grandchildren, Lucas and Layni Miller all of Hyndman; a brother, Robert “Butch” Clites and wife Lettie of Hyndman, sisters, Shirley Pederson and husband Guy of Augusta, WV. Debra Ranker and husband Richard of Hyndman, Carol Henderson and husband John of Cumberland, MD; half-sisters, Elsie Knotts of Meyersdale, Joyce Knotts and husband Sonny of Berlin, Barb Ackerman of Meyersdale and Norma Logsdon and husband Jack of Hyndman, a half-brother, John Leydig and wife Elsie of Meyersdale; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Clites served in the US Army during Vietnam. He retired from C. W. Wright where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club, the Barrellville Outdoor Club and the VFW.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday September 20th from 2 to 5 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m.

Burial will be private at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman.
