Hyndman, PA – Kenneth L. “Jake” Ritchey Sr., 81, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Tuesday March 8, 2016 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born November 6, 1934 in Hyndman; he was a son of the late Allan “Bud” and Lena (Ritchey) Sisler. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Westwood, a grandson, Michael Westwood.

Survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline (Norris) Ritchey, whom he married May 21, 1955; sons, Kenneth Ritchey Jr. and wife Lorrie of LaVale, Michael Ritchey and wife Carmil of Gresham, OR; daughters, Dana Davis and husband Aron of Georgetown, SC, Gail Miller and husband George of Klondike, MD, Sharron Ritchey of Andrews, SC; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Jake was a Heavy Equipment operator at Mount Savage Refectories. He was a life member of the Barrelville Outdoor Club. He enjoyed spending time and playing poker with his family. In his younger years Jake was an avid pool shooter. He never met a stranger.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 6-8 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Ken Haines officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hyndman Londonderry Public Library.
