Obituary

Hyndman, PA – L. Faith Horner, 76, of Hyndman, PA, went to be with the Lord Saturday February 11, 2017 at Donahoe Manor.
Born October 4, 1940 in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late James and Lois Ruth (Emerick) Korns. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Christian Harden Sr.
Survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard N. Horner; whom she married July 25, 1959; sisters, Londa Randall of Cumberland, Deborah Harden of Hyndman; nephews, Christian Harden Jr. and wife Heidi of Hyndman and Jeffrey Harden of Edge Water, MD; and a great nieces, Brittany Harden and Krystal Rowan.
Faith was a member of First United Church of Christ Hyndman. She retired from Hoblitzel Bank where she was a loan officer. She served at the Hyndman Borough as Secretary for many years.
Faith was an animal lover. She was a member of the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club and enjoyed showing Giant Schnauzers. Faith was a personal dog nanny for the late Dr. William R. Newman for 17 years , and also for H. Dean Lemley for 12 years and , who became lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held at First United Church of Christ in Hyndman on Friday April 28, 2017 at 7:00 pm
