Hyndman, PA – LaDonna K. Hughes, 63, passed away Tuesday August 2, 2022 at her home.

Born June 30, 1959; in Everett, PA; she was a daughter of E. Ray and Gertrude L. (Shaffer) Taylor.

LaDonna was a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She had worked in the Sykesville, Grantsville and Cumberland area. She was a member of the Comps Church and loved gardening, art projects and swimming at Gooseberry. She was known by many as Momma Donna and Aunt Donna.

Survived by her husband of 26 years, Dewey R. Hughes; children, Rebecka Robinette, Jeremiah Hughes and wife Kayla all of Hyndman; two grandchildren, Aryana Douglas and Andrew Robinette and their father, William Robinette; parents Ray and Gertrude of Hyndman, sisters, Cindy Sheetz of Hyndman, Tammy Blankenship of LaVale, Bonnie Davis and husband Jimmy of Stanford, Florida; and several nieces and nephews; 2 stepchildren, Jason Hughes and Heather Brashewitz.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday August 5, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home On Saturday August 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roger Huffman, officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery
