Manns Choice, PA – Laura (Zeigler) Hillegass, 98, of Manns Choice, passed away April 5, 2020, at her home.

Born March 26, 1922, in Manns Choice, PA; she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Violet (Turner) Zeigler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Adam E. Hillegass; a son, Harvey F. Hillegass, son-in-law, Jerry Karns, brother, Harvey H. Zeigler and infant brother, Leroy Zeigler, grandson, Robert Hillegass. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survived by her daughter, Mary E. Karns, of Manns Choice, daughter-in-law, Oeson Hillegass, of Wenatchee, WA;

grandchildren, Junita Hillegass, Laura Whetstone, Gina Dyer and husband Leroy, Darrell Hahn and wife Jeanette,

great grandchildren, Galen Hillegass, Devan Hillegass, Tara Layton and husband Brendon, Steven Whetstone and wife Mandy, Lela Murin and husband Shane, Maura Whetstone and husband Justin Rushde, Jake Dyer, Nichole Dyer, Marybelle “Rosie” Hahn; great-great grandchildren, Dylan, Lilya, Skyela, Audre`ahnna, Theran, and Olivia.

Laura worked at GC Murphy, Washington Bakery, Exact Level, Hedstrom and Fairfoot Shoe Factory. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the Manns Choice Senior Citizens.

Due to the current Covid19 Pandemic the family will conduct the funeral service privately.
