Fairhope, PA – Laura Marie Costello, 73, of Fairhope, passed away Friday January 29, 2021 at UPMC Somerset Hospital

Born May 21, 1947 in Cumberland; she was a daughter of the late Elmer L. Hordubay Sr. and Maud L. (Ritchey) Hordubay. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marlin L. Costello Sr., infant sister, Connie Hordubay, a stepmother Garnette Hordubay,

Survived by two children, Marina Kay Fisher and husband Randy, Fairhope, Marlin L. Costello, Jr., of Manns Choice, four grandchildren, Wyatt Ernest Fisher and fiancée, Liana Fochtman, Blair Marie Fisher and fiancé, Andrew Lasure, Jasmin Costello and Nicholas L. Costello; brother, Elmer Hordubay Jr. and wife Victoria of Frostburg, sisters, Paula Wargo and husband Robert of Hyndman, Lisa K. Tomlinson and husband Jeff of Buffalo Mills; god children, Latasha Tomlinson and fiancé Chad Newman and Kyle Tomlinson, special friend, Gene Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.

Laura worked at the Fairfoot Shoe Factory and the concession stand at Shawnee Park Beach. She enjoyed baking and made wedding cakes. She was a former member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and when it closed joined the Buffalo Mills United Methodist Church. She was also member of the Schellsburg VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching the animals around the house.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday February 2, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Golla officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairhope.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Baltimore Volunteer Fire Department.
