Wellersburg, PA – Leroy R. Troutman, 92, of Wellersburg passed away Friday June 10, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born June 16, 1929, in Wellersburg; he was a son of the late Russel and Nora (Hosselrode) Troutman. Also preceded in death by sister, Verna “Dolly” Carpenter, brothers, Ray and Vernon Troutman; son, Vance Troutman, grandson, Travis Troutman.

Survived by his wife, Charlotte (Hayes) Troutman; children, Charlene Troutman, Vondell Troutman and wife Glynnis, Cheryl Albright and husband Keith, Ivan Troutman and wife Kim; daughter-in-law, Margie Troutman; brother, Harvey Troutman, grandchildren, Danielle (Rodney) Mock, Jeremy (Brittany) Troutman, Keithie (Sarah) Albright, Matthew (Amanda) Troutman, Brandon (Cheyanne) Troutman, Shaun (Ashley) Albright, Chase (Ashley) Troutman, Andrew (Cassidy) Troutman, Russell (Alison) Albright, Tyler Troutman; 34 great grandchildren and one on the way; as well as longtime friends Jim Clites and Dave Korns.

Leroy served proudly in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he retired from PPG and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the NRA and The Gideons. He enjoyed the PPG breakfasts and attended Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday June 16, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Friday June 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating. Viewing one hour prior

Burial will follow at Cooks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local EMS Services or Cooks Cemetery Association.
