Hyndman, PA – Linda Lou (Emerick) Figard, 73, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at UPMC Shadyside, with her girls by her side.

She was born December 30, 1948, in Cumberland; a daughter of the late Earl L. Emerick Sr. and Lillian V. (Kiser) Emerick. Also preceded in death by husband, Ronald Figard; brothers, Gary Emerick, Earl “June” Emerick, and William O’Neal.

Survived by daughters, Larynda Bryant and husband William Jr., and their daughter, Danielle Bryant; Lorrie Spataro and husband Chris, and their son, Logan Harden, Tracy Merkel and husband Bob, and their children, Devin Merkel; Paige Merkel and fiancé Korey Moses; sister, Gloria Jean Leydig; brother, Ronald Emerick; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was a member of the Bible Gospel Church. She had worked as a sewer at Biederlack for many years until they closed. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, movie nights with ‘the girls’, working in her yard, summers by the pool, and reading her Bible daily.

Friends will be received at the Bible Gospel Church, 4866 Hyndman Road, Buffalo Mills, on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, December 31, 2022, 11am to 1pm., where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Pensyl officiating.

Burial will be private at Hyndman Cemetery.
