Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Lisa A. Emerick, 56, of Buffalo Mills, PA, went to be with the Lord Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born November 23, 1960 in Cumberland; she was a daughter of the late Russell and Avalene (Mays) Evans.
Survived by her husband of 36 years, Steven Emerick Sr, whom she married February 15, 1980; children, Kelly Carnell and husband Troy; Steven Jr. and fiancée Chelsea Dawson all of Hyndman, grandchildren, Kaylee and Grayson Harshberger; step grandchildren, TJ Carnell and wife Autumn, Emily, Shania and Lucas Carnell; 2 step great grandchildren, Adilynn and Tucker Carnell; father-in-law, Mervin Emerick of Buffalo Mills; and many special friends.
Lisa was involved in the Londonderry Township Tax Collector’s Office for over 30 years. She was a faithful and lifelong member of the Central Christian Church in Hyndman, where she served as the Treasurer. She was a 1978 graduate of Hyndman High School.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Central Christian Church, Clarence St., Hyndman on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Terry Elliott and Galen Beitzel officiating.
Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
