Buffalo Mills, PA – Lloyd J. Martin, 81, of Buffalo Mills, went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 4, 2021 at Pennknoll Village.

Born November 9, 1939, in Manns Choice he was a son of the late Gerald and Artie (May) Martin. He was also preceded in death by stepfather, Charles McCreary;  infant brother, Irvin Martin, stepbrothers, Ernest, Virgil, Grant and Marvin Tomlinson, a stepsister, Myrtle Whitehead; and son-in-law, Ray Medina.

Survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Evans) Martin, whom he married, April 26, 1963; children, Royce A. Martin and wife Susan (Hershberger) of Cessna; Barbara Harris of Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Medina of North Pole, AK, Kenneth L. Martin of Buffalo Mills; grandchildren, Doreen Rogers and husband Michael Williams, Ryan Martin and wife Janine, Matthew Rogers and wife Jasmine, Jonathan DeGarmo and Jason Martin; great grandchildren, Michael, Xane and Mandela; a brother Darrell Tomlinson and wife Nancy of Windber; and several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd worked at Kelly Springfield Tire until they closed then for Hedstrom Corporation until its closing. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Lloyd survived pancreatic cancer in 2011. He loved hunting, especially going to Colorado for elk with his friends, enjoyed bluegrass music, horses and trail riding.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday August 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7139 Hyndman Rd. Buffalo Mills, on Monday August 9, 2021 at 11 am with Pastor Karen Ward officiating.  Viewing one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery.
