Marian Marie Reed went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2022 at Sterling Care Frostburg Village, Frostburg, MD.

Marian was born July 19, 1930 in Central City, PA; a daughter of the late Chester and Ethel (Miller) Manges. She was also preceded in death by her sister Carol (Manges) Miller, brothers Alvin Manges and Claire Manges and son-in-law Edmund Landis.

In 1949, Marian married the love of her life, the late Reverend David T. Reed, who passed away in February of 2001.

She is survived by her five children. David and wife Barbara, Ronald and wife Sally, Karen and husband Richard, Donna, and Larry and wife Cathy, sister, Betty Resh (George), brother, Roy Manges (Eva), sister-in-law, Georgie Ann Manges, a special friend of the family, Bonnie Meagher and many nieces and nephews.

Marian loved her 11 grandchildren which survives her: Sheri, Wesley (Peggy), Kristi, Susan Gene (Jeremy), Neil (Sabrina), Jill (Mike), Jody (Shawn), Carol (Jeremy), Bradley (Michele), Katelynn (Nathan) and Kyle (Sara), 35 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, that gave Marian five generations in her family.

Marian was a member of Tri-State Ministry Center and Hyndman Senior Citizens. After retirement she enjoyed traveling to Florida with her husband for many years. She always enjoyed a cup of tea and dessert with family and friends who visited her home.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Tri-State Ministry Center on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 12 p.m. with Pastors Stevie Leydig, Rebecca Rust and Caleb Shaffer officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Plant City, FL at the convenience of family.
