Marie A. Kennell, 78, of Kennells Mill, PA, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at her home.

Born July 16, 1942, in Mount Savage, MD; she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Elsie E. (Johnson) Carder. She is preceded in death children, William Kennell Jr., Pauline Kennell and Jerry Kennell; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Kennell; brothers, Gary, Robert, and John Carder; and a sister, Virginia Kennell.

Survived by her husband of 62 years, William W. Kennell Sr., whom she married October 22, 1958;  children, Jim E. Kennell of LaVale, Jonathan R. Kennell and wife Lynn of Hyndman, and Paul A. Kennell of Kennells Mill;  sisters, Paulette Brotmarkle and husband Jim of Cumberland, Margaret Smith of Richmond, OH, Elizabeth Powell and husband Ronnie of Mount Savage; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday January 30, 2021 from 12 to 2 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roger Huffman officiating.
