Ellicott City, MD – Mary E. Golden, 59, of Ellicott City, MD died Monday November 30, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Born May 15, 1956, in Ellicott City; she was a daughter of Richard Shaffle and Betty Shaffle Thomas.

Survived by husband of 38 years, Richard A. Golden; sons, Richard Thomas Golden and wife Kathrine all of Ellicott City, Donald R. Golden and wife Lindsay of Baltimore; sisters, Nancy Doss of Charleston, WV, Dorothy Castle, CO; a brother, Tom Shaffle of Catonsville, MD; grandchildren, Dominic and Cailin Golden, Brian E. Kegg, Jazmine M. Golden, Alexandra J. Kegg, Serria L. Miller and Marrisa Golden.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. where a funeral service follow at 5 p.m.

Burial at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery, Hyndman.
