Bakersville, PA – Mary Lou Bockhouse, 73 of Bakersville, formerly of Cumberland, MD, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Somerset Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Ethel Bockhouse. She was born in Cumberland, MD on May 20, 1941. At the age of 3 Mary Lou developed scarlet fever and would be disabled the rest of her life.

Mary Lou has spent the last 26 years at the McGinley House in Bakersville, where she had many friends.

She was the granddaughter of the late Henry and Bertha Katherine (Davis) Bockhouse. She was also preceded in death by an uncle, Rev. Charles Bockhouse Sr and wife Lottie; aunts, Helen Bockhouse and Elsie May McDonald.

Surviving are cousins, Charles and Ed Bockhouse of Manns Choice.

Services for Mary Lou will be private.

Burial will be at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
