Mary Louise Fochtman, 91, of Hyndman, PA passed away, April 7, 2023, at Peace Mountain City Rehab, Frostburg.

Born December 23, 1931, in Oldtown, Maryland; she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Clysta (Shaw) Davis. She is preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Tom, Ken and Ernest Davis; a sister, Irma Yonkers; sons-in-law, Tom Uetrecht and John Leister

She is survived by her husband, Clyde E Fochtman, whom she married May 18, 1974; daughters, Cathy Uetrecht, of Colorado Springs, CO, Tina Leister of Carlisle, Dawn Stair and husband, Brian of Berlin; grandchildren, Tim Williams, Erica Stair Reddy, Jeremy Stair, Andrew Leister, and Matthew Leister; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Francis Allen and husband Don, Jane Stonestreet and husband, George, Jean Adams; a brother, Wesley Davis and wife, Barbara; many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a strong Christian woman with great faith and was a member of Faith Community Church. She worked at McCrory’s for 46 years. She collected antiques, Hens on Nest, bears, and kerosene lamps.  She made beautiful crafts, and tole paintings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place at Hyndman Cemetery.
