Fairhope, PA – Maud L. (Ritchey) Hordubay, 94, of Fairhope, formerly of Manns Choice, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 at the home of her daughter.

Born November 20, 1923 in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Blair W. and Laura B. (Kennedy) Ritchey. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Elmer Hordubay Sr.; infant daughter, Connie Hordubay; brothers, Donald, John, William, Robert and Jack Ritchey; sisters, Erma Conner, Ethel Waltman, Mary Smith, Audrey Sisk, Lena Sisler and Ruth Crabtree.

Survived by a son, Elmer Hordubay Jr and wife Victoria of Frostburg, daughters, Laura Costello of Fairhope, Paula Wargo and husband Robert of Hyndman, Lisa Tomlinson and husband Jeff of Buffalo Mills, a sister, Pearl Miller of Berlin, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Maud had worked at the Celanese Corp., Reese’s Store and White Sulfur Springs. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and loved watching birds, planting flowers, and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairhope.
