Hyndman PA – Michael E. House, 66, of Hyndman passed away Wednesday July 3, 2019

Born February 11, 1953 in Cumberland, MD; he was a son of Eugene and Betty J. (Deremer) Housel. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene; a brother-in-law, Gary Shaffer

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Neva (Sweene) Housel, whom he married April 28, 1973; daughter, Missy Housel, mother, Betty Housel, brother, David Housel all of Hyndman; sister, Donna Shaffer, Flinton, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was a 1972 graduate of Hyndman High School. He served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from JLG in Bedford and was a member of the Oscar Jordan VFW Post 7375, Cumberland American Legion Post 13, and the Kennells Mills Sportsmen’s Club.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. JoAnn Dermer officiating. Military Honors by Ft. Bedford Honor Guard.
