Hyndman, PA – Mildred Elaine (Campbell) Miller, 87, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord, on Monday August 31, 2015 at Frostburg Village.
Born August 17, 1928 in Central City, PA; she was a daughter of the late Fred and Stella Mae (Deneen) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband John Charles Miller Sr., in 2004, a son, John Charles Miller Jr., and a son in law, Louis Spinks; sisters, Ethel Lafferty, Mabel Burkett, and a brother Robert Campbell.
Survived by daughter, Linda Sue Spinks of Cumberland; son, David R. Miller and wife Barbara of Hyndman, daughter-in-law, Linda Miller of Hyndman, eight grandchildren, John C. Miller III, Jennifer M. Spinks, Mark A. Miller, Julie L. McKenzie, Todd E. Miller, Levi J. Miller, Mary and Matt Cline; sisters, Dorothy Turner and husband Bob of Hyndman, Rosalee Stahlman of Hyndman, Elizabeth Stuby of Cumberland; brothers, Clyde Campbell and wife Donna, Earl Campbell and wife Judy, Glenn Campbell and wife Sara Ann all of Hyndman, Donald Campbell and wife Emma Lee of Buffalo Mills; special friend, Fred Temke of Hyndman; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mildred has worked at the Celanese Corp. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where honored this summer as having the longest membership. She also loved to play the organ.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Nagy officiating
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery
