Myrna Cynthia Eiser, 87, of Ellerslie, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Goodwill Retirement Community.

Born July 25, 1935, in Cumberland; a daughter of the late Harold Jasper and Ruth Madeline (Wisler) Luman. Also preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Eiser, two brothers, Charles Luman and Harold Luman Jr., niece, Tracy Stammer; stepmother, Martha (Swanson) Luman, stepsister, Virginia Moore and husband Orville.

Myrna is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Donaldson and husband Peter, Winston Salem, NC, Susan Mallozzi and husband Dennis, LaVale, Virginia Eiser, Cumberland, Nancy Crislip and husband Carl, Germantown; sister-in-law, Sondra Luman and nephew, Stephen, Denton; stepbrother, Tom Swanson and wife Liane, Centerville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Myrna is also survived by grandchildren, Scott Donaldson, Winston Salem, Matthew Mallozzi, LaVale, Dustin Mallozzi and wife Brodie, Ellerslie, Kristi Beers and husband John, Arbutus, Brandon Lavin, Baltimore, Charles Crislip (Rachel Lindsey), Rockville, Courtney Crislip (Garrett Eagan), LaVale, Chase Crislip and wife Madison, Frostburg, Chance Crislip, LaVale; great grandchildren, Reagan and Graham Crislip, Henry Beers and Hattie Mallozzi.

Myrna was a member of Ellerslie United Methodist Church and was very active there as she and John raised their family. Daily reading of the Bible and prayer were a very important part of her personal daily living which she shared with those she loved. Myrna also enjoyed birdwatching, painting, drawing, and loved family get togethers.  She was so proud of and deeply loved her “grands” as she would call them and absolutely just adored her “great grands”. We will miss her smile and laugh and all the love that nurtured our family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday February 5, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday February 6, 2023 at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Department.
