Kennells Mill, PA – Patricia A. Bittner, 89, of Kennells Mill passed away at Meyersdale Nursing and Rehab on Wednesday January 23, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Born May 23, 1929 in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late May Rue (Shroyer) Boyer and Albert J. Emerick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester V. Bittner; brothers, Charles Boyer Jr, Roy Boyer; sisters, Dorothy Bryant, Alma Kennell, Freda Kennell and Hazel Weimer, infant daughter, Esther Kay Deneen, daughters, Cleo Miller and Linda Crosby; son-in-laws, Allan Dunmeyer, Gary Lee and Ted Miller; grandsons, Clifford Shaffer and Austen Crowe.

Survived by daughters, Mary Printy and husband Ken of Ellerslie, Diane Dunmeyer and friend Eddie Emerick, Donna Lee both of Kennells Mill, Betty McKenzie and husband Tom of Frostburg; fourteen grandchildren, Jeff Printy and Wife Richelle, Melissa Caporale and husband Dave, Kelly Gomer and husband Jim, Les Dunmeyer, Shawn Dunmeyer, Stefanie Crowe, Eric Bittner, Jason Lee and fiancé Tara, Jamie McKenzie, Jeremy McKenzie;  Michael Crosby, Karen Miller and husband Brian and Bobby Crosby and wife Bonnie, Tina Campbell and husband Bobby, Becky Miller; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a member of Calvary Bible Church. She also part of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Hyndman Fire Hall and the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday January 25, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Greg Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery, Hyndman PA., with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
