Cumberland, MD – Paul H. Clites, 90, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born December 23, 1930 in Hyndman, PA; he was a son of the late Jesse E. Sr. and Lottie (Hosselrode) Clites. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Clites Jr., and Leroy Clites. He is preceded in death by a son Jeffrey P. Clites

Survived by his wife, Leona (Moore) Clites; children, Paul R. Clites and Cindy Senter of Essex, MD, Johnny T. Raven and wife Ahyoka of Clarksburg, WV, Marilyn Rowley of Cumberland, Shane B. Clites and Denna Beegel of Kennells Mill, a sister, Martha Kennell of Hyndman; grandchildren, Curt, Jean, Matthew and Amanda Clites; Waya Anderson, Mariah Edgel, Jason Clites, Marcus, Blake and Chance Rowley

Mr. Clites was a 1950 graduate of Allegany High School and served in the US Army during Korea. He retired from CSX after many years as an equipment repairman. He was a member of First Church of God, Cumberland.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday July 5, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Pastor William Tucker, officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery with military honors by the Ft. Bedford Honor Guard
