Hyndman, PA – Paul H. Zimmerman of Hyndman, PA passed away on October 24,2020. He was 96 years old. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Doris to whom he was married for 70 years. He was the son of the late Pius D. Zimmerman and Velma (Wisler) Zimmerman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William. Surviving are two sisters, Marcella Kimble and Dorothy Sechler and a brother, Donald Zimmerman.

Paul is survived by two daughters, Vicki D. Printy and husband James, Staunton, VA and Corinne S. Macdonald and husband Thomas of Bradenton, FL. He was also blessed to have 4 wonderful grandchildren, Adam Printy (Kristen), Erin Printy (Becky), Ryan Macdonald, Justin Macdonald (Michelle).  Great-grandchildren; Ashton Printy, Ethan Printy, Ian Printy, Julia Macdonald and Nathan Macdonald were added blessings.

Paul attended Salisbury High School and was a graduate of the Nashville Auto and Diesel College in Nashville, TN. Paul retired from Allegany Ballistics Laboratory in 1986 with 34 years of service.

Paul served 3 years in the Army during World War II in the European and Asiatic theaters. He was Post Commander and a life member of Hyndman VFW Oscar Jordan Post 7375, a life member of Hyndman Masonic Lodge #589 F&AM, a member of the Queen City Region and Fort Bedford Region AACA.

Paul was an avid hunter and his hobby was restoring vintage autos. He and Doris enjoyed traveling, car shows, bowling and going to casinos with their many friends.

Paul was laid to rest in the Hyndman Cemetery on October 27,2020 with a family service.
