Cumberland, MD – Pauline L. Sturtz, 84, of Cumberland went to be with the Lord Thursday December 3, 2015 at the Goodwill Mennonite Home.

Born April 2, 1931 in Mt. Savage; she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Loretta (Beal) Geiger. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Humble, Esther Geiger, Mary Everline and Margaret Huff.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, L.D. Sturtz of Cumberland, a son, Joseph D.  Sturtz of Wellersburg, a sister, Ella Jean Troutman and husband Harold of Hyndman; special friend, Nancy Merritt of Romney, WV; and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline worked at East Ohio National Gas Company and later at First National Bank. She attended Grace Brethren Church.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 3 to 6 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with viewing one hour prior, Pastor Ken Korns officiating.

Burial will follow at Cooks Cemetery, Hyndman.
