Obituary

Wellersburg, PA – Pluma Mae (Lashley) Dom, 88, of Wellersburg passed peacefully to join her husband Robert Irvin Dom and daughter Deborah Sue Tanner on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at GoldenLiving Meyersdale.
Born May 6, 1928 in Mt. Savage; she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lillie (Norris) Lashley. She was also preceded brothers, Benjamin, Elmer, Robert, William, Randolph and Ike Lashley; sisters, Mary Lashley, Lillian Lashley, Ruth Harden, and Sarah Friend.
Survived by children, Charles I. Dom and wife Michaeleen of Parkman, Ohio, Thomas E. Dom and wife Helen of Wellersburg, PA, Kathy A. Friend and husband Dale of Frederick, MD and Marsha L. Sines and husband Robert of Meyersdale, sisters, Leona Felker of Mt. Savage, Etta Malloy of Savage, Betty Zimmerman of Solon, OH; 10 grandchildren, Charles Dom, Robert Dom and wife Jenna, Joseph Dom and wife Rosie, Joshua Dom, Ryan Dom and wife Justine, Tyler Beck and wife Brandi, Briana Martz, Aaron Mathew Dom, Alyse Meghan Beck, Whitney Kennell and husband Joshua; 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Member of the St. John’s United Church of Christ, also served as secretary of the Ladies Aide, and secretary of the Joint Consistory of the Hyndman, Ellerslie, and Corriganville Charge of the United Church of Christ. She was a founding member and life member of the Wellersburg Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. She also served as treasurer.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 1pm with the Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
