Obituary

Chambersburg, PA – Raymond “Butch” M. Martin, 75, of Chambersburg passed away Thursday February 16, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born December 28, 1941 in Cumberland, MD; he was a son of the late Ramon and Elmina (Emerick) Martin.
Butch served in the US Navy. He retired from Fort James where he was a press operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was a devoted and loving family man.
Survived by his wife, Nancy (Wright) Martin, whom he has been with for 51 years; children, Raymond A. “Butch” Martin of Fayettville, Wanda K. Hoover and husband Daren of Waynesboro, Elizabeth Ann Seedle of Ohio, and Glenn A. Martin of Chambersburg; also 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday February 19, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday February 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Haines officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
