Hyndman, PA – Robert Lee Ringler, 74, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Thursday January 5, 2017 at his home

Born May 11, 1942 in Buffalo Mills, PA; he was a son of the late Lawrence “Poss” and Anna E. (Burkett) Ringler. Also preceded in death by twin children, Terry and Jerry Ringler in 1967 ; brothers, Walter Blair and Lawrence Eugene Ringler; sisters, Marie Hyde and husband Homer, Pearl Dull and husband Earl, brothers-in-law, Gene Sipes and Clair Foor; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Betty Stuby.

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda (Stuby) Ringler, whom he married December 21, 1962; children, Dawn R. Fyfe and husband Brian of Manns Choice, R. Steven Ringler and wife Karen, Linda C. Smith and husband Jeff both of Hyndman; grandchildren, Kenan Fyfe and wife Ashley, Jenna Stiffler and husband Kyle, Megan and Alex Smith, Jesse Ringler; great grandchildren, Payton and Paige Fyfe, and Henry Stiffler; sisters, Reba Foor, Thelma Sipe, sisters-in-law, Shirley Ringler, Judith Campbell and husband Earl, Tracy Haley and husband Steve; special friends, John and Ruth Topper, and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a 1960 graduate of Bedford High School. He worked at PPG in Cumberland and then with the Hyndman Borough. He was the original operator of the Hyndman Water Treatment Plant for 27 years until his retirement. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church; a life member of Rocky Ridge Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter and loved telling and listening to hunting stories. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his Lord and family with all his heart. He would help anyone in need.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday January 9, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday January 10, 2016 at 11a.m. with Pastors Fred Zickefoose and Dave Klink.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
