Wellersburg, PA – Ronald Lee Emerick, 75, of Wellersburg, PA went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at WVU Ruby Memorial.

Born May 25, 1945, in Cumberland; he was a son of the late George Leydig and Dolly Emerick. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Emerick Jr; a brother, David W. Emerick.

Survived by his wife, Karen (Blubaugh) Emerick; a son, Mike Emerick and wife Amy Hostetler of Meyersdale; grandchildren, Brittany McDonald, Sadie Clites and Zachary Emerick-McKenzie; 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Barb Logsdon of Kennells Mill and Patricia Troutman and husband John of Cumberland.

Mr. Emerick was a truck driver and worked for Mattlingly Construction. He was a member of Comps Church, Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club, and a bowling league. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roger Huffman officiating.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made Comps Church.
