Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Ruby V. Shroyer, 82, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Lions Manor, Cumberland.
Born July 19, 1934, in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Saloma (Clites) Emerick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny E. Shroyer; grandsons, John Romesberg and Douglas Sheirer; brothers, John, Ray, Chester and Leo Emerick; sisters, Blanche Ohler, Lillie Osborne, Annie Deneen and Eva Emrick.
Survived by a son, Bernard Shroyer and wife Brenda of Comps; daughters, Vickie Romesberg and Michael of Comps, Joann Sheirer and husband Douglas of Hyndman, Tereca Shaffer and husband George of Hyndman , Tracie Logsdon and husband Jeffrey of Hyndman; grandchildren, Stephanie Imler and husband Jason, Mindy Connors and husband Steve, LaDawn Rose and husband Dan, Chassity Weaver and Husband William, Derek Romesberg, Jeffery Logsdon and girlfriend Kensey, Justin Logsdon, Levi Shaffer and wife Brianna, and Kayla Shaffer; great grandchildren, Megan, Logan, Hailee, Dylan, Rhett, Rylee, Remington, and Claire;  a sister, Ilene Kennell, of Hyndman, brothers, Vernon Emerick of Hyndman, and Curtis Emerick of Lewes, Delaware; many nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a member of Comps Church. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roger Huffman officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
