Hagerstown, MD – Ruth M. Miller, 88, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Shenandoah Center, Charles Town, WV.

Born November 18, 1928 in Hyndman, PA ; she was a daughter of the late William and Helen (Bruck) DeVore; also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Miller, Sr.; and a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Werner-Miller.

Survived by a son, Robert Miller Jr. of Bunker Hill, WV; granddaughters, Rachel and Lacey Lee; a great granddaughter, Trinity; a sister, Gertrude Pensyl of Hyndman; a brother, Robert DeVore and wife Mary of Chicago IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth worked as a Medical Secretary/ Office Manager for Dr. Edward Ditto III from 1963- 1992 and stayed on part-time for an additional 5 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hyndman, PA.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday January 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday January 28, 2017  at 1 p.m. with Pastor Fred Zickefoose officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery.
