Hyndman, PA – Shirley A. Walls, 84, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Saturday September 19, 2020 at UPMC Bedford.

Born August 31, 1936 in Wellersburg, PA; she was a daughter of the late Cecil E. Porter and Grace A. (Paul) Porter Sturtz. Also preceded in death by stepfather, Albert Sturtz.

She worked for over 20 years at Jerry’s Market and the B & B Market. She would often have her pockets filled with extra change to help others. Shirley was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Hyndman, the church’s Ladies Auxiliary, and the Hyndman Senior Citizens. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family.

She is survived by children, Bernard Walls and wife Christie, of Hyndman; Cynthia Grimes and husband Steve of Bedford, Bryan Walls and fiancé Tracy Attfield of Sarasota, FL, Michelle Patton and Steve of LaVale; 3 grandchildren, Bob Walls and wife Samantha; Jeff Walls and wife Brittny; Jace Patton; and 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Aliviah, Collin and Brianna. A special sister, Betty “Dolly” McKenzie of Glencoe and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday September 22, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday September 23, 2020 at 11 a.m with Rev Dr. Tomislav Dosch and Pastor Dan Stultz officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
