Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Shirley Ann Burkett, 64, of Buffalo Mills passed away January 16, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside.
Born May 1, 1957 in Johnstown; she was a daughter of the late Nancy P. (Reighard) Miller. Also preceded in death by grandson, Bobby Lee Willison and daughter, Lisa Willison, brother, Donald Miller.
Survived by husband Wayne Burkett; daughters, Patty Zimmerman and husband Dave of Hyndman, Susan Moore and boyfriend Sam Collins of Virginia; sister, Cindy Adams and husband Danny of Hyndman, special nephew, Christopher Adams and wife Lauren; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and her cat, Little Bit.
Shirley enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, making special quilts for her great grandchildren. she was a former member of the Hyndman Rescue Squad. She was well known for her handmade cards and liked taking long rides with her beloved husband Wayne.
Shirley worked in the decal department at Cannondale.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
