Buffalo Mills, PA – Timothy L. Burkett, 56, of Buffalo Mills, passed away Friday February 5, 2021 at his home.

Born May 23, 1964 in Bedford; he was a son of the late Robert F. and Marilyn L. “Max” (Lienhardt) Burkett. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Vicki L. (Deter) Burkett, and a brother, Daniel Burkett.

Survived by children, Matthew Burkett and wife Ashley of Buffalo Mills, Brandon Burkett of Cumberland, Michelle Taylor and husband Ian of Johnstown, Michael Deter of Frostburg, Elyse LaRue of Johnstown, 11 grandchildren, Emmy, Mya, Kylie, Marissa, Trenton, Tristan, Bentley, Victoria, Veronica, Skylar, and Jaxon.

Tim drove truck all his life. He worked for several trucking companies over the years including, A. Duie Pyle and Pitt Ohio Trucking. He was a member of the Sporting Clay Association and the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed sporting clay shoots.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday February 10, 2021 from 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday February 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Pensyl officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Milligans Cove Cemetery.
