Buffalo Mills, PA  – Walter Allen Albright, 72, of Buffalo Mills, passed away Monday November 27, 2017 at Donahoe Manor.

Born February 1, 1945 in Hyndman he was a son of the late Walter Ray and Mabel Devota (Coughenour) Albright. He was also preceded in death by his son Paul Allen Albright in 2007.

Survived by his wife Evelyn (Stambaugh) Albright, whom he married June 30, 1968; a daughter, Anita Diehl and husband Greg of Buffalo Mills, a sister, Orpha Crawford of Bedford; grandchildren, Isaac, Micah and Sarah Diehl and Mashayla Harkcom.

Allen worked in the warehouse at US Food Service for 32 years in Altoona. He also worked at the former Fairfoot Shoe factory for 13 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, old western movies, computer games and genealogy.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan Stultz officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
