William Daniel Roach, “Billy R. Super Star”, “Grill Billy”, “Budda”, passed away at home on Saturday, November 5, 2016 with his Mama and Nephew, Chance by his side.

Born on August 11,1974 in Fairfax, VA., he was the son of Cindy “Mama Roach”and Danny Roach.

Billy worked in the sign business for over 10 years and most recently worked at the brick yard in Mount Savage. Billy was at one time a member of the Barrellville Outdoor Club and was the grill master of the fish bowl.

Billy was preceded in death by his Pap Herb and Grandma Darlee Baker and grandparents William and Ethel Roach.

In addition to his mom and dad, Billy is survived by his son Cody Haer of Leesburg, VA, daughter Hailey Roach of Ellerslie, MD, grandparents, Butch and Shirley Utterback of Winchester, VA. Billy’s two brothers, Michael Roach and his wife Connie of Frostburg, md and Danny Roach, Jr of Winchester, VA. two nephews, Chance and Eyan “Bubba” Roach of Frostburg, md, three nieces, Summer Roach and Savanah and Alyson Mellon of Frostburg, MD and his loving companion, his dog Pancake as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends all of which Billy thought of as family.

Billy enjoyed cooking out in his yard “the fish bowl” for his many friends and family. It may have taken all day long to prepare but it was well worth the wait. Billy lived life to the fullest, he had a big heart and was loved by all who knew him. Billy loved riding dirt bikes, going on the mountain and shooting guns with his pap and the rest of his family. Floating the river was one of his favorite pass times as well. Billy was a true Baltimore Ravens fan after giving up on the NY Giants.

Billy was his Mama’s best friend and always put her before himself. He has touched many lives and will be missed by all that knew him. He will be forever carried in our hearts and remembered for his love of life and family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Glass and Kenneth (Uncle Huck) Baker officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Michael Roach, Danny Roach, Chance Roach, Donald DeLozier, Jeffrey Baker, Chuck Digman, Eric Johnson, Dale Kiser, Gary Hite, Brent Pensyl, Loralie Butler.
