Hyndman, PA – William E. Cook, 91, of Hyndman passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born December 14, 1927 in Cumberland, he was a son of the late William Kermit and Dorothy (Harclerode) Cook. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marylu (Logsdon) Cook in 2015.
He leaves behind his two daughters, Melanie Topper of Harrisburg and Edythe Miller and husband Edward of Hyndman; three grandsons, Edward Miller Jr and wife Kelly, Seth Topper and wife Karen all of Harrisburg, Joshua Miller of Hyndman; a granddaughter, Stephanie Donaldson and husband Svin of Harrisburg, six great grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, and Heidi Miller, Caden and Katie Donladson and Cole Topper; sister, Joanne Jennings of Hyndman; nieces and nephews, Bill, John, Cathy, Debbie, Tammy and their families.
Bill served in the US Army during WWII and retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He was a member of Wills Mountain Church of Christ.
You are with Mama now in heaven. You are both back together the way it’s suppose to be, in each others arms where there is no more suffering. We will miss you so much. We love you. Thank you for being such a wonderful father and grandfather.
At Bill’s request there will be no viewing.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial at Hyndman Cemetery.
