Westminster, MD – Zelda Belle Dom, 96, formerly of Wellersburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday October 7, 2015 at Lookabout Manor in Westminster, MD.

Born August 29, 1919 in Mount Savage, MD; she was a daughter of the late George and Leona (Falkner) Rizer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. Curtis Dom Sr. in 1998; a son, George “Bill” Dom; a grandson, George “Bill Boy” Dom; brothers, Robert and Lawrence Rizer.

She is survived by sons, James C. Dom Jr and wife Louise of Littletown, PA, Bradley Dom of Wellersburg, Marie Shockney of Westminster, Anna Marriott and husband Richard of Fort Mill, SC; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dom was a member of the Zion Community Church and the ladies auxiliary as well as the Wellersburg volunteer fire department ladies auxiliary. She was a longtime volunteer for the elections.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday From 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ken Korns officiating.

Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD.
